Kārlis Villerušs successfully passes B-UEFA coaching courses

Kārlis Villerušs along with another 15 students have successfully completed the B-UEFA coaching courses.

Last week, all B-UEFA students had to pass the final exam, where students were asked about training processes, training periodization, and had to demonstrate their training, which was held during the course, as well as they were tested in theoretical knowledge. The course also included course work, practical activities and teamwork.

Kārlis Villerušs (FK Lielupe head coach): “It’s a great pleasure to get a B-UEFA coach license. I want to thank everyone who supported me, all my colleagues, lecturers. It was a unique opportunity to share experiences with such coaches as Andrejs Perepļotkins, Maksims Rafaļskis, Denis Ivanovs, who has a huge experience as professional football players, as well as it was very interesting to meet with representatives of the regions, I think that colleagues from Talsi are doing a great job and they can only be admired. There is a lot to be said for each of the colleagues, because each of them came to this course with their own ideas, thoughts, and their own philosophy. It was indeed very valuable. Really big way to get this license is behind us, and certainly in the near future I will speak with the LFF Coach Education division, want to hear their recommendations, and, of course, now is the time to prepare for the next season. As there is expected reform of the league system, FK Lielupe will participate in 3rd League, and now the entire board is working hard on several projects, and we set the task for the next season to fight for the promotion to the 2nd League. So, I think this experience gained through coaching courses can be very helpful not only for me, but also for the whole team. I believe that next year, we will face a very interesting and exciting season.

FK Lielupe congratulates our coach Kārlis Villerušs on successfully completing B-UEFA coaching courses and wishes further development and great success with the team next season!
